Choose the Ninja Blast Max for the most capable cordless cup, or the smaller Ninja Blast when weight and price matter more.
The Blast Max adds a larger 22-oz vessel and a twist-and-go lid for a full-size smoothie on the move. The original Blast is lighter and cheaper for a single shake. Neither replaces a full countertop blender for very dense frozen mixtures.
A portable blender is a compromise appliance: part blender, part bottle and part rechargeable device. The best model is the one whose compromise matches the trip. An insulated vessel helps a long commute; a detachable motor helps when the finished drink must be lighter; a simple USB-C port matters when you travel with one charger.
Battery marketing should not distract from loading technique. Cordless blenders need enough liquid, smaller frozen pieces and space for ingredients to move. If every smoothie begins at home, a corded personal blender and a separate insulated bottle will usually deliver stronger blending and fewer charging decisions.
